I was saddened to learn the passing of John Crapo, who later changed his name to the true French spelling, Crapeau. John was one of the engineers who worked in PACE group at MIT Instrumentation Laboratory, later changed to Charles Stark Draper Lab. I was John's secretary during those early years of my employment at Draper, so I'd known him since 1959. He had a great sense of humor and was a great conversationalist. I'm sure he will be missed by many friends and family. I have many fond memories of my old PACE group!

JOHN worked with me at DRAPER LABS on PEACEKEEPER & the MAE PRORAMS. He was our GO-TO GUY for all interface requirements, working with all the contractors we had to interface with, His fantastic capability to work with those who cooperated & those who did not, was unbelievable & very important!! He was extremely diplomatic. We could not have been as successful with our interfaces if John was not handling them. HE WAS A GREAT ASSET TO DRAPER LABS!! Very well loved & will be sadly miss from our world. BOB LEGER

Dear Diane and family, I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad. We had some very interesting talks about sailing and he will be missed in the Dining Room. Every time we get Oatmeal in the morning Sharon and I often say it reminds us of John. May he Rest in Peace. My prayers go out to you and your family. Fondly, M. Jane Gurich
