During this time of uncertainty surrounding coronavirus COVID-19 we at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home are here to support and assist families during their time of need. As always, we are operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week making certain that those entrusted to our care and the families we serve are receiving uninterrupted service and attention.
We are still available for our families. We can meet with you in person, via telephone, or email to assist in planning your loved one’s services. You can still have visitation and funeral services; however, we will follow the guideline issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where at no time more than twenty five people can gather in a public setting; this includes the funeral home, churches and cemeteries.
The Archdiocese of Boston has suspended all funeral mass celebrations in the church effective Monday March 23rd.
We suggest you contact the family or friend who has suffered a loss to acknowledge they are in your thoughts and offer words of love and support. Take a moment to mail them a card or leave condolences on the our website. Offer a prayer, a sympathy card or families may mention a charity to send a memorial contribution in memory of their loved one.
Remain in touch; the family will be forever grateful.
Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time. If you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
