Frances Ciccolo

Frances E. Ciccolo of Cambridge, passed away surrounded by her family on July 23, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph P. and Elizabeth A. (D’Amato) Ciccolo. Loving sister of Theresa Williams  and her husband Ted of Belmont and the late Mary(Ciccolo) Carter. Cherished aunt of Derek Williams and his wife Catherine; Ashley Williams; Philip Carter and his wife Kimberly; Joseph Carter; and Chris Carter and his wife Danielle.  Adored great aunt of  Cody Carter; Brianna, Casey and Adrianna Williams; Emily and Allison Carter and Maeve Carter.

Frances was a retired employee of the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds for 37 years.  She was a volunteer at Mt. Auburn Hospital for many years. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Peter's Church, Cambridge. Frances loved to bowl, travel the world and especially loved spending time with her family.  The family would like to thank Rebecca L. Porter, MD, PhD and her amazing team at Dana Farber for the care they provided Frances.

Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd, Belmont on Friday July 29th at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Church 100 Concord Ave, Cambridge at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers we prefer donations be made in Frances’ memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute ATTN: Medical Oncology Dept. 450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA. 02215.
