Frederick Dooe Obituary
Frederick William ”Fritz” Dooe passed away suddenly in his Belmont, MA home on Monday October 15, 2018, at the age of 33. He is survived by his father, Frederick C. Dooe, his mother, Catherine A. Byrne, and his sister, Mary E. Dooe, along with many cousins. Born in Waltham, MA on July 31, 1985, Fritz attended Belmont Public Schools. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as a Master of Science in Actuarial Science, and put his degrees to use with a position at the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. A great intellect, Fritz enjoyed not just math and computer science, but philosophy, poetry, and Latin, and he continued to pursue education throughout his life. He was a kind and gentle soul. Services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 130 Common Street, Belmont on Wednesday, October 24th at 10:30am. Burial will occur at the Highland Meadow Cemetery.
