Edward "Ted" King

Edward J. "Ted" King born in Brighton, MA, May 6th1961 died on January 22, 2019 at the age of 57. Beloved son of the late Arthur T. King and Ruth T. (Fahey) King and preceded in death by Sister Barbara L. King, O.P.. He is survived by his Brother Robert and his wife Margaret, James, Marjorie, Paul, Kathleen and her husband Jeffrey as well as many nieces and nephews.  

Ted attended Belmont High School and Merrimack College. Shortly after graduation, he began his career at Waverley Insurance Agency (Belmont, MA) and eventually became the President and CEO. 

Ted was generous and kind, with an enormous heart. He was an avid skier, a dedicated Red Sox fan and he loved Newfound Lake, New Hampshire. It was often said that Ted could be heard before he was ever seen. It was a reflection of Ted’s love of life and love of connection with the people whose company he was enjoying. He will be missed dearly by all.

Visiting hours will be held at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont (MA) (www.brownandhickey.com) on Thursday January 31, 2019 from 4:00-7:00PM. A private burial will be held.
