William Canavan Obituary

William A. Canavan of Belmont December 22, 2020. Son of the late Andrew T. and Catherine Canavan. He was born November 12, 1934. Beloved husband of Helen M. (Trodden) for 52 years. William is survived by his three children Andrew T. and his wife, Stacie Canavan of Medford, Laura Patterson and her husband Pat of Nashua NH, and William P. Canavan and Katherine Moylan, of Arlington. Dear Papa of five grandchildren: Brendan, Caitlin & William Canavan, Ella & Charlie Patterson. He was predeceased by his siblings Mary Melody, Catherine Canavan, Margaret Keohane, Joseph Canavan, Helen Canavan, Anna Derrane and Barbara Maimaron. Also survived by a large extended family including many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID19 the funeral services will be private. Donations may be made in his memory to Seasons Hospice of Milton, MA.
