Kathleen J (Flannery) Dimott

Kathleen J. (Flannery) Dimott of Belmont passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on June 29, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Dimott. Loving mother of Elaine Cowing and her husband Paul of Waltham and Richard Dimott and his fiance Miken Lalli of Belmont. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Dimott of Maine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Kathleen was the secretary for Mr. Sullivan (Belmont High School Assistant Principal) for 30 years. Kathleen enjoyed walking around Castle Island in South Boston. She said the Rosary faithfully with the Catholic Channel everyday. She loved watching her favorite shows The Golden Girls, Bonanza and Gunsmoke, reading novels and magazines and listening to Howie Carr on the radio at bedtime. She enjoyed when Miken would do her hair, her monthly luncheons with her dear friends and mostly spending time with her family.  Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road Belmont on Thursday July 8 at 9:00AM Followed by a funeral mass in St Joseph Church 128 Common Street Belmont at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Interment Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Drive Arlington, VA 22202
