Fanny (Vitale) Arena

Fanny Vitale Arena, age 91, a prominent Belmont Real estate broker, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 14, 2023 at her summer home in Gloucester surrounded by her family and friends. She loved the Good Harbor beach area as much as she loved her home on Belmont Hill that she shared with her late husband Anthony “Tony” Arena. Part of her success impact was how much she loved the beautiful homes that Belmont had to offer. Her great taste and amazing design sense helped future buyers imagine a home that they could love for a very long time. She truly cared for her clients. Fanny retired at the age 82 to a house by the sea and her advice to all would be “buy the vacation house now, take the leap that you always wanted, love what you do and you will never hate your job!” Fanny is survived by her son Chris and Margaret Arena, her daughter and son in law Stephanie and Jeff Peters, and three grandchildren; Alexandra, Samantha and Christopher. Sister of Virginia Possidento, Ann Jordan, Julie Lancaster, David Vitale and his wife Kathy and the late Frank, James and Pam. Also survived my many nieces and nephews.
