William F. Brennan of Arlington, formerly of Cambridge passed away peacefully on Nov. 28,2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Watertown on Sept. 29,1918, the son of the late William F. and Sarah A.( Hurley) Brennan. He was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge Tech. Beloved and devoted husband of 71 years to the late Rita F. (Barker). Loving father of Helen F. Friel of West Dennis, Rita F. Kelly of Arlington, Mary M. Grazewski of Acton, Michael M. of Arlington, Patricia A. Kelly of Groton, Robert E. of Arlington and the late William F. Brennan Jr. He will be sorely missed but not forgotten by his loving children. A wonderful grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont Friday, Dec.1 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Peter's Church 100 Concord Ave.Cambridge at 10AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Cambridge Cemetery.
