Ronald P. Parker, 60, of Fresno, CA died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 24th after a brief illness. Ronnie grew up in Lexington and Belmont and resided for the past 30 years in California where he ran a successful advertising business. He was an avid golfer and Boston sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family during frequent visits to Chatham and Belmont. He is survived by his loving family: parents Ron and Carolyn (Ivester) Parker of Belmont and Chatham, sisters Laurie Parker and her husband Michael McKittrick of Quincy and Julie (Parker) Jordan and her husband John Jordan of Scituate, and brother Stephen Parker of Lunenburg. He will also be greatly missed by nephews John and Matthew Jordan and Stephen Parker Jr, niece Hannah Jordan, and uncle Stephen Ivester and wife Karin of Keota,Iowa as well as several beloved cousins. Visiting hours in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont on Sunday, March 11 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
