David Facey

David Facey of Arlington, formerly of Cambridge, Oct. 21 2017. Husband of Jean A. (Millette) of Arlington, formerly of Fairhaven, MA. Father of Sean Facey of Haverhill, Sharon Donovan and her husband Jon of Norton and Lauren Carrigan and her husband Joel of Derry, NH.  Grandfather of Matthew and Myles Donovan and Ryan Carrigan. Brother of Noreen McHugh of Cape Coral, FL, Donald Facey of Falmouth, Philip Facey of Cambridge and the late Virginia Gill and Frank Facey.  Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Dave started his  work at Cambridge Chronicle newspaper selling advertising. He then went on to radio station WCAS doing sales and he had a talk show called “Sounding Board”.  Dave also worked at WBZ selling advertising.  He enjoyed  freelance writing for several publications and worked on the Olympic Committee in 1984.  His favorite past time was singing with the Singing Grandpops and Bel Aires. 

Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont Thursday at 10AM. Funeral mass in St. Agnes Church 51 Medford St. Arlington at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.  Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers please send donations in David's memory to the Alzheimer's Association 309 Waverly Oaks Rd. Waltham,MA. 02452.
